Delete your Gróa account and data

In the app or on the web

Open Gróa (the app or groa.vaki.chat) and sign in. Go to Settings, choose "Delete account" and confirm by typing the word it asks for. Everything is deleted at once.

Want a copy first? In Settings, "Download my data" gives you everything we keep about you in one file.

A Gróa Pro subscription is cancelled the moment the account is deleted, and you are not charged again. If the subscription cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted, so you never pay for an account that is gone.

If you cannot sign in

Write to support@vaki.chat from the email address the account is registered under and ask for the account to be deleted. We confirm the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• The account. Your email address, your plants, history, conversations, reminders and settings.
• Your photos. Every photo you saved in Gróa is deleted from the photo store.
• Sign-in. Sign-in links and sessions are deleted.

What is kept

• Cloudflare recovery history. The database keeps a recovery history for up to 30 days, so deleted rows can survive there that long before they are gone for good.
• Paddle payment records. Paddle sells Gróa Pro on our behalf and keeps its own payment and tax records as the law requires. We never hold your card details.
• Anonymous totals. A day, a name and a number, nothing about anybody.
